Mitochondrial Eve and Diversity of the Tribes of Man
Mitochondrial Eve is known as the maternal ancestor of all living human beings. She is the most recent common ancestor and most likely was from NorthEast Africa. She is important because when she was alive before everyone split off to different continents and drastically changed genetically.

Deductive vs. Inductive Reasoning
Deductive reasoning works from more general to more specific. The bottom line is that one will start with a theory, work to a hypothesis, make an observation, then a confirmation. ( Theory --> Hypothesis --> Observation --> Confirmation)
Inductive reasoning works the opposite way. One will make an observation, find a pattern, form a tentative hypothesis, then come up with a theory. (Observation --> Pattern --> Hypothesis --> Theory)

In class we've done a few interesting things that I have never done before. The first day of class, half of us were called into the hall. We were given the task of conveying a message to the rest of the class without talking. It was not easy. Most people in the class just looked at us like we were crazy, but they eventually figured out that we were imitating "the swift red fox jumps over the lazy dog." We also did cryptograms and made paper footballs. All of the things we did were showing us how the brain works in different ways and various ways of communicating. My favorite thing was the cryptogram because I had never done one before and it was cool to try to figure it out.
